Untitled highlights the ravage of time on objects and is reminiscent of a house or space that has been marked, crumbled, and left behind. Walls, architecturally, are meant to divide space. They create personal boundaries and privacy – within which they witness memories being created. Untitled, as a piece of displaced wall that has been cut out of its original space, used as a surface, transformed, and embellished by gold leaf, addresses the problem of displacement and the nostalgia of home.
