The Cube concerns itself with the mobility of art, the demarcation of the occupied space in the gallery, and the mediation of objects – such as the glass between the self and the self’s reflection. The piece acts as a traveling storefront that puts the self on display, studies the effects of one’s inaccessibility to one’s image, and emphasizes the fetish of conferring value upon the inaccessible objects in a display.
