? is about questions. This publication's focus is to look at questions as language forms and explore their effect on our interactions and conversations. Questions usually demand answers, but can one become comfortable with leaving them unanswered? What informs them? To what extend do our class, race, gender, education level, etc. affect the questions we formulate?
Questions are the driving force for humanity and have been inspiring the contemporary artistic process more than ever; by questioning we are led to create, wonder about the universe, investigate, and process information. Questioning can also be highly political: movements around the world are driven by people who question authority, governments interrogate to dominate power. Who gets to ask questions? Does questioning require some degree of power? If so, who is allowed to ask and who has the power to remain silent in return?
? looks into the ways we think.
